Acromark | MachinesSeries 800 | Series 700 | Series 500Acromark Hot Stamping Press Vertical Series 800
Each press comes with a rugged modular steel plate frame permitting an unlimited variety of frame configurations to suit every product need. The Series 830 presses operate with a direct acting, air/oil power system, developing a controlled marking pressure of anywhere from 1/2 to 10 tons with point contact high pressure activation. Both the four- and six-inch stroke cylinders preclude the need for fine adjustments to the support table during set up and automatically compensate for part thickness variations. Vertical clearance adjustments are made on raising table models by means of a heavy threaded center screw and for adjustable outboard supports. Dual electric hand switches with anti-tie down, anti-pinch point safety circuitry are standard. There are four standard heated head sizes, while special requirements are met upon request. All heads are suspended on a four post ram guidance assembly with a hardened and ground steel shafts moving through two levels of bearings for precision stamping accuracy. All heads have an adjustable leveling provision for ease in set-ups. A process controller with touch screen controls and motorized foil feed with automatic scrap foil rewind is standard. Among available options are receding foil guides, adjustable delayed foil strap circuitry, and preprinted Heat Transfer/Digital Heat Transfers feed systems with electric eye registration. The Acromark Model 720 RC Roller Coated is a versatile linear contact roll-on hot stamping machine designed for high speed decorating. The machine is used for tipping the raised portions of molded characters, designs or beads and for applying various types of hot stamping foils or multi-color preprint Heat Transfer/Digital Heat Transfers designs to large flat area parts and panels. The roll-on hot stamp transfer is accomplished by rotational line contact of a heated silicone roller against the surface of the part being decorated. This method provides compensation for surface variations and it also eliminates air entrapment occurring in vertical press stamping of larger area parts. The standard machine is equipped with a variable speed conveyor belt drive permitting the continuous feeding of parts and material. Self supporting items are placed directly on the belt but the machine is also suited to certain applications where fixturing is required to support a shaped part. For other fixed applications the machine is available with a palletized chain conveyor on which individual parts support nest are mounted. In many cases multiple passing of parts and automatic feed out is possible thereby further increasing production yield. The external ceramic heating system is regulated at the roller surface through solid state temperature control and an infrared thermocouple. Foil is automatically fed with the advance system being directly tied into the roller and conveyor drive motor. The roller head has dual pressure spring loading to allow floating of the head assembly for compensation of certain part thickness variations. An air retract lifts the roller assembly away from the work and drive conveyor when the equipment is in the idle or warm up stage. This retract is also activated as a pinch point safety provision on contact of an electrically sensing bumper bar. Air safety cool down of the roller is provided in the event of electric power failure or shut-off. The separate, free standing control center may be positioned for best operator access. Model 730RTApplying the same principles as the linear Model 720RC, this machine is used where part fixturing is required in applying hot stamp foils. The Model 730RT is custom built to meet a wide variety of requirements from air conditioner grills to TV cabinets. The selection of sizes for heated rollers and moving tables is virtually unlimited, permitting Acromark to produce the best machine for your application. The Model 730RT can be provided with a floating head option to facilitate application of hot stamp foils to contoured surfaces as well.
Model 730PDesigned for hot stamping on extruded parts, the Model 730P can apply both standard foils and continuous pattern preprinted Heat Transfer/Digital Heat Transferss on either precut parts or on-line with a plastic extruder. This press is available with a variety of heated roller sizes and mounting configurations to make this an ideal machine for continuous extrusion hot stamping. For multiple surface decorating, several Model 730Ps can be mounted sequentially to decorate the part in a single operation.
